I posted this on another Disney-related website and didn't get much of a response, so I thought I'd try here.
I got the "Pete's Dragon" soundtrack on CD back in January '03.
I noticed that on the "Passamaquoddy" track, Red Buttons' "I'll collect!" is missing before Jim Dale's "I'll do the counting!" The omission is very noticeable.
I should add that I've had this soundtrack on album and 8-track (!) and the line was not missing on either. A review on Amazon.com claims that it was recorded on the set and was not part of the soundtrack master.
So, does anyone know what the deal is?
