They did a preview last night for Cast Members and their families. Here are my notes. They seemed to be intentionally cutting off the normal songs (sometimes in the middle of the song) in order to have as many dancing numbers as possible.

  • Carol of the Bells - Pentatonix
  • What's This?
  • It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas - Fruit Bats
  • Feliz Navidad
  • White Christmas - Bing Crosby
  • Christmas Eve / Sarajevo 12/24
  • Hark! The Herald Angels Sing - Mannheim Steamroller
  • Jingle Bells?
  • A Mad Russian Chrismtas
  • Frosty the Snowman - ??
  • I'm Gettin' Nuttin' For Christmas
  • Little Saint Nick - The Beach Boys
  • Christmas is Starting Now
  • Santa Claus is Coming to Town - Frank Sinatra
  • WInter Wonderland
  • Christmas Island - Kristen Chenoweth
  • What's This?
  • Have a Holly Jolly Christmas - Burl Ives
  • Feliz Navidad
  • Greatest Time of Year - Aly & AJ
  • Winter Wonderland
  • All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey
  • I'm Gettin' Nuttin' For Christmas

I can confirm that this year the Dancing tracks are playing pretty much every other track now- occaisonally you'll get two normal songs in a row but that's the exception and not the rule. Despite this, What's This? is the only new dancing track this year.

Went yesterday to see Osborne Spectacle and yes Barbera still sings Jingle Bells.

To add to the listing above I definitely heard included Mele Kalikimaka (which played not too long after Christmas Island, like a song and dance sequence later)...I can't quite put my finger who sings it but it starts with an xylophone I believe. Now I can't confirm these two but thought I heard as I was leaving around 8 the opening piano arrangement very similar to the song in the new 2014 holiday Target commercial...but it wasn't the same either... Maybe I need to relisten to some of those songs a few posts up just to double check.

What I don't know is has they always shuffled the normal songs? Always hear some repeats in between the dancing lights.

In previous years, they played songs in order, but would jump around in the list without much rhyme or reason. For example, one night they might start out with tracks 1-10, then jump to tracks 15-25, then 6-9, then 20-24, etc., etc. Dancing lights tracks were usually repeated in order but they could jump around, too. The only sure thing every night was (is?) ending on Christmas Time Is Here with street lights up.

Ahhh I see. Not like 99% will notice the shuffing difference anyway. Still interesting. Also will be looking out for that one last song too haha.

Oh, and totally just remembered: Steamroller's Joy to the World played at one point.
