Origins of the Humphrey Hop?

Does anyone know the origins of the "Humphrey Hop" recording that is on the cd Classic Disney Volume 5. The song originated in the Humphrey Bear short "In the Bag," but this particular recording was not featured in that film. Was it part of an early Mickey Mouse Club vinyl collection?

Yes, that recording of Humphrey Hop (the theme from "In the Bag) originated on a Mickey Mouse Club record (don't remember which LP it first appeared on - but it had been performed as a dance number on the show) and the track was reissued on the Goofy's Dance Party LP as well.

I first heard this on a Disney Cruise (in the hallway), and wondered where it came from. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for responding. It had that real "50s" sound to it. I had never heard of it before the Classic Disney CD.
