Nemo Subs Question

I know that the initial press release said that they would use 'Big Blue World' in the finale of the Subs. So the question is, do they actually use it or did it get cut? I haven't seen it mentioned in any of the reviews.

It didn't use it. The finale music is very nice though.. I could've definitely seen it going into big blue world but it doesn't =)

I had just listened to the Finding Nemo musical CD the day that we rode the subs for the first time so all the songs were in my head. After getting off the attraction, I realized that while I was still singing the songs, I didn't distinctly remember them in the attraction, but I easily could have not noticed as there's a lot going on. Upon riding it again, the closest they ever get is Dory's singing "Just keep swimming" and while it's pretty atonal, the lines are pretty much the same as the song- probably about the same as the film though too.

Does anyone know if that's Albert Brooks as Marlin? I know they used the woman who did Dory in the Musical, but Marlin really sounds like Albert Brooks to me.

If anyone's interested, check out Window to the Magic video podcast #29 (www.windowtothemagic.com). This videocast will allow you to hear and see for yourself.

I wasn't aware of the decision to use the actress who performed Dory for the sub ride (it does not sound like Ellen DeGeneres) but it sure does sound like Albert Brooks as Marlin or one of the best imitations ever.

Well even in the Epcot ride, alot of the same lines are used in both the Musical and the Seas. For instance, in the EAC, there is one segment where Crush and Suirt's lines are lifted right from 'Go With The Flow' from the Musical, just spoken (not sung). I am almost positive they used the same animation for both the Seas and the Subs.

Marlin is Jess Harnell. He's a man of many voices, also doing Brer Rabbit in Splash Mountain. He's also soon to be heard in Transformers.
