Description: EMP officials, Disney executives, and Mickey Mouse are part of a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the exhibit to the general public.

Event: Panel Discussion: Walt Disney Records: Then & Now
Description Greg Ehrbar, author of MouseTracks: The Story of Walt Disney Records, moderates a panel discussing the label?s start as Disneyland Records and its evolution over the last 50 years. Panelists include Walt Disney Records producer and historian Randy Thornton; Disney historian and artist Stacia Martin; WDR artist Ginny Tyler; and recording artist Marni Nixon. Followed by Q&A and book signing, featuring Ehrbar and Nixon, among others.

Panelists include Disney historians Les Perkins and Paula Sigman Lowery; Jeff Kurtti, Creative Director of the Walt Disney Museum; and Robert Tieman, Disney Archivist.

Event: Disney Music in the Theme Parks
Description: Walt Disney Records producer and historian Randy Thornton gives a presentation about the role of music in the Disney theme parks and talks about the 2005 box set A Musical History of Disneyland.
Audience: General public, National Fantasy Fan Club (NFFC) members, and EMP/SFM members

Event: Behind the Scenes of Disney Music
Description: Exhibit curator Jasen Emmons shares excerpts of filmed interviews with Disney artists and experts, including Richard Sherman, Phil Collins, Alan Menken, Leonard Maltin, Thomas Schumacher, and others talking about different aspects of Disney music. Followed by a question-and-answer session.
Audience: General public, National Fantasy Fan Club (NFFC) members, and EMP/SFM members

Sunday presentations may also include a rare look at Disney record artwork, never-before-heard songs that DID NOT end up in classic films, and a salute to Disney voice actors.
