Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

Hello:

Does anyone know which version of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride the commonly circulated "live" recording of the queue music comes from?

The live recording I have runs about five minutes and includes two alternating score pieces - the score of the Merrily Song sung by Toad and then the score for the scene from the train chase - and a vocal version of the Merrily Song with male and female voices.

What are/were the differences between the MK Toad and the DL Toad queue loops?

Does anyone know if a better recording is available?

Thanks again for you help; I can always look to this discussion board for the best information.

No Bill, it is not before my time. And I still look to the name "Walt Disney" - rather than "Disney" - for the "finest in family entertainment."

LOL Good one, roy.

There is a big difference between Disney and Walt Disney, isn't there?

On the Toad loop though, I try to listen when I'm there (that's at both parks), but I could never hear it well enough. I only collect music I can hear. I never felt the WDW one was very special. I had never even gone nuts to see the film, actually, although I finally did.

Oh, and I forgot...Howdy!

Thank you for bringing your ride-thru to my attention. That is definitely the best sounding version of the chorus I've ever heard.

Also, congrats on getting your new website up and running - I loved surfing around the Disneyland Source, and Visions Fantastic looks even better.

Are you still planning on releasing more of the 50 Years of ImaginEARing series of ride-thrus?

If anyone has the entire Toad queue loop, from either park, please let me know.

Thanks again,

The outcome of this question is yet to be determined, but I'll keep ya'll informed on this one.

The WDW queue loop for MTWR is one that remains very high on my wish list, and by that I mean the old queue music with the faster tempo version of "Nowhere In Particular" and not the slower paced version from Disneyland that replaced it at Florida in its final years (the original queue music still played inside the ride in the Town Square part).

Eric:

Thanks for the additonal information. I am assuming that the live recording that is circulating is from the DL version of the attraction - that's an assumption because I'm still not for sure.

The playlist must go something like this:

01. Train Chase Scene score (0:00-1:04)
02. Merrily Song instrumental (1:05-2:20)
03. Merrily Song Reprise score (2:21-2:37)
04. Train Chase Scene score (2:38-3:44)
05. Merrily Song vocal (3:45-5:01)

Anyway, thanks to everyone for the information.
