So, I'm a major noob on here, but was wondering if anyone has had a chance to check out the new MK Street Party. In my opinion, it's far better than Family Fun Day, no offense to any performers of course, it's just this new one is so upbeat and I'm loving the opener. I was working on its 2nd day and as soon as I heard the music coming down main street towards where I was shooting at Rose Garden, I couldn't keep still, nor could so many guests around me?


Any recommendations for how to get a good recording of the opener? ("Hey, Get Up, Get LOUD!! We're pumping up the party Now!" ...)

Just as a side note, I was beginning to wonder when that Corbin version of Celebrate you was finally going to actually pop up in the park, lol.

Dunno if its the same version or not, but those lyrics actually belong to a Hannah Montana track "Pumpin' Up the Party" on the series' first soundtrack, and a version appears on the "Best of Both Worlds Concert" soundtrack.

It's the same version, just a few lyric changes to fit with the theme and party.

While we're talking about this, are the same guys who arranged the music for MISICI the same guys who arranged BLOCK PARTY BASH?
The music style and vocal group sounds so similar!

Oh no, you're right! I didn't follow any of the Hannah Montana stuff, but my sisters recognized it. I'm listening to her version on youtube and it is the same almost. Street party is more upbeat though.

I was playing in the parks with some coworkers and got a recording on my camera and the audio turned out better than most of the stuff on youtube, but you can hear us singing along in parts. I'm on a mission to improve it next week!
