More Ravenscroft/Mellomen on iTunes

Hi, all!

Just a heads up -- iTunes recently made available three collections of songs by "The Mellomen with Thurl Ravenscroft," for a grand total over 80 added songs! This is, of course, in addition to the great "Meet me Down on Main St." LP. I'm not sure how long the collections have been up: I usually search for new Ravenscroft every couple of months or so.

What a great, great sound these guys had!

The songs are from Capitol Records transcriptions from 1949. I have them on cassette tape and physically own all of the discs (there's one with Christmas songs that to my knowledge hasn't been released yet) but these are much better quality. The Mellomen featured on the songs are Bob Hamlin, Max Smith, Bill Lee and Mr. Ravenscroft.
