Mickey's Toontown Fair - Area BGM

I am starting to put a playlist together for the current BGM for Mickey's Toontown Fair at WDW. It looks like only part of the WDWF tracks were used and, somewhat surprisingly, some of the tracks are used twice. In addition, some tracks in the loop were not released on WDWF (or anywhere else for that matter). Has anyone put a playlist together already?

Also, it looks like there was some discussion of the history of the music in this area in previous posts. Does anyone have a definitive playlist from the earlier loops, or any information that wasn't previously stated?

Here is what I have come up with so far. There are 5 tracks that I haven't been able to identify. Hopefully, once I get home from visiting my inlaws, Bill or Wedroy1923 will be able to assist me. I believe there are 20 tracks in the loop. As most probably already know, the WDWF tracks are missing the "sound effects" that are included in the loop (e.g., animal noises, sound of planes buzzing, etc...). Based on a comparison of my recording, I doubt the track list on Disney Music Loops, which just lists the WDWF tracks, was ever correct.

01 - The Country Cousin (WDWF)

02 - The Grasshopper and the Ants (WDWF) (Version used in the loop is 3:25, while the WDWF track is 3:44)

03 - Camping Out (I am not certain this is the WDWF version. The sound of the harmonica is different, but that could be due to the quality of the induction recording, as compared to the WDWF track)

04 - ?

05 - The Tortoise and the Hare (WDWF)

06 - Minnie's Yoo Hoo (WDWF)

07 - Funny Little Bunnies (WDWF)

08 - ?

09 - Puppy Love (WDWF)

10 - ?

11 - The Three Little Pigs (WDWF)

12 - The Pied Piper (WDWF)

13 - The Country Cousin (WDWF - REPEAT)

14 - Steamboat Willie (Unreleased - Sounds like a different mix than DLF version)

15 - Turkey in the Straw (Unreleased)

16 - Springtime (WDWF - Only first 49 seconds)

17 - ? (I originally thought tracks 16 and 17 were one track. However, the music in track 17 is not the same as what follows after the first 49 seconds in Springtime from WDWF.)

18 - (Way Down Upon the) Swanee River (Unreleased)

19 - Puppy Love (WDWF - Repeat)

20 - ?

This leaves the following WDWF tracks, which I have no idea if they were ever used in WDW. I'll spend some time at Toontown soon and see if these tracks are used anywhere else.

Interesting this topic comes up, as I just made a Mickey's Toontown playlist. However, I don't want to repeat stuff, so I just stuck to the DL and TDL loops, since they use most of the tracks. I didn't know that WDW used more songs not availible. The one I would like to find is the "Wise Little Hen" track that is missing from the DL loop.

Ben C: I sent links to the 5 WDW tracks that I could not identify to your pm. If you have time, and the desire, could you check these against the DL and TDL loops you just made playlists for, and see if you can identify the track names?

I am back at Toontown this evening capturing another reference recording of this loop. To my surprise, the loop that is currenty playing no longer has any of the SFX (e.g., planes buzzing, animal noises, etc.). I wonder why (and when) the loop was changed. Over the next several days, I'll compare this recording from my previous one and confirm whether the same songs are used, minus the additional sfx.

On a different topic, I noticed that Pecos Bill has its own dedicated loop. It was playing very low when I was in there, but the song playing was La Bamba. Weird!

When comparing the tracks, don't forget that "Thru The Mirror" showed up on the Disneyland 2001 OA. That could possibly be one of your mystery tracks.

The scuttlebutt is that Disney is going to bulldoze Mickey's Toontown Fair as part of a massive Fantasyland makeover... so there is going to be a lot more missing besides buzzing airplanes and animal noises!
