Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade
For Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, the cast rehearsal CD with the various float audio is in wide circulation. The underliner, which is not on the rehearsal CD, and includes the parade announcement, ran 20:32 the first year I timed it. A female announcer says "Ladies and gentlemen, bats and ghouls, Mickey, Minnie and all their friends have come together at the spookiest time of year to say boo to you as they proudly present the not so scary Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade!"
The float units, based on the information provided on the Event Party CD, are:
(1) Mickey's Boo to You Bash
(2) Mickey's Boo to You Bash (with Characters)
(3) Yo Ho Pirates Palooza
(4) Haunted Mansion Cemetery Soiree
(5) Halloween Hootenanny Hoedown
(6) Halloween Hootenanny Hoedown (with Clara Cluck)
(7) Villains Grove-A-Go-Go
(8) Goofy's Trick or Treat Candy Hop
(9) Goofy's Trick or Treat Candy Hop (with Goofy)
While Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade was released on the Magic Kingdom Event Party CD, the version released is not the full parade, as the underliner, parade introduction, and some of the float audio is missing from the mix.
The parade audio, as well as the Headless Horseman audio (see below), has been the same since 2005.
The Headless Horseman
Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is preceded by a visit from the Headless Horseman. The introduction, warning guests about this visit, as well as the music that plays during the Headless Horseman's ride from Frontierland to MSUSA (Ride of the Valkyries) runs 2:40. Note, the full loop does not play on most nights, depending on the speed of the Headless Horseman's ride. I noticed several times that the loop normally plays around 1:40.
The introduction is made by a male narrator, warning guests of the upcoming encounter, and states the following:
I've a tale to tell I hope you'll follow, of a legend born in Sleepy Hollow.
A Headless Horseman rode through the night, on a great black steed with a pumpkin bright.
It's said he's tired of his flaming top, so he's looking for a head to swap.
Beware, he may soon be in sight. The Headless Horseman rides tonight!
