Main Street USA had two loops playing.
One for the Morning and one for the Afternoon.

Most of the tracks from the original loops are by the Paragon Ragtime Orchestra:

 CD   iTunes

And Albert White and the Gaslight Orchestra "Your Father's Moustache" Vol.1 and Vol.2 (deleted/unavailable - as far as "the usual sources" are concerned).
Others are from Disneyland Forever and Walt Disney World Forever.

Sometime in the early 2000's (possibly pre-2004), the loops were changed although still including similar titles and themes.
Some of the old favorites are to be still in there but a few have been replaced (in some cases with similar titles).

The "new" sound may take some getting used to!
A visit in March 2014 appears to confirm that the PM loop has now been replaced with the new AM loop so plays the same loop all day as suggested in the comments below. Keep in mind that it "may" just be a technical problem that hasn't been corrected yet and the PM loop may return later in the year or may even be a seasonal thing. Future visits should settle this. No official statement re the PM loop has been made by Disney.
Latest News April 2014:
The old PM loop is playing again. So whatever the reason they replaced it with the new morning loop we'll never know for sure. Still, part of the history of the Main St loops I suppose so worth reporting. It seems that at (seemingly) random times, (see comments below) that the "old" afternoon loop is still playing. We know of no official reason for this - error or contractual maybe or which way the wind is blowing. Be prepared to hear either depending on when you visit!.

Again, thanks to @needmagic for providing the information on both the pre 2012 AM and current PM loops and to @wedroy1923 for identifying the sources used.
We hope to fill in the gaps for the sources soon in the older loops.
