Thought some might be interested in track names for the Main Street Cinema loop recorded by PL-7764 and posted on Rodentsections.

The tracks are sourced from the album Rides, Rapes & Rescues (Liberty LST 7185). They appear in PL-7764's recording as follows:

01. Madame Fifi's Can-Can or La Derriere de Ma Tante
02. Keystone Kapers or Custard's Last Stand
03. Silents Please! "The Pearles of Murine" - Chapter 11 - "Death or Dishonor"
04. A Mustache, A Derby, A Cane and A Cop

I should also note that the tracks are slightly edited to remove the spoken introductions.

PL-7764's recording comes from Disneyland. Can anyone verify if the same loop was used at the Magic Kingdom's Main Street Cinema prior to being converted into retail space? Does anyone have any live clips or video that would confirm what music was used? As always, any information is appreciated.

Disneyland and Walt Disney World used the same tracks. The vocals were edited out when the Main Street Cinema switched to all Mickey Mouse shorts in 1983. Before that that, Steamboat Willie was the only Disney film shown in the American Main Street Cinemas. This change occurred for Tonyo Disneyland has their Cinema always featured 6 early MM films. I am not sure in TDL used the same music .

On a side note: The Main Street Cinema music and Market House phones in the 70's and 90's were on the same audio carte tape.

Nice to see I was correct when seeking the mustache derby etc track. Hangnails Hennesey was, in fact, Spike Jones.
Was available on Amazon.com (vinyl) but sold out.
Here's what we are looking for anyway. maybe one day................
