Hello! I am looking for cd tracks of the songs from THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW. Does anyone know where I may purchase these tracks? Does anyone have them to trade? I am also looking for the song from the animated short TRICK OR TREAT. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi Ichabod,

To my knowledge, none of the original tracks to Sleepy Hollow have been released on CD. However, alternative recordings have been released. One of my favorites is a Kay Starr recording of the Headless Horseman on the Billboard Scarytime Family Classics CD (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...136143?v=glance). Also available is a Bing Crosby rendition of Headless Horseman (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...136143?v=glance).
And the last track I have found is a recording of Ichabod on this CD http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detai...136143?v=glance.

Hope that helps.

There is an LP on Ebay today of Sleepy Hollow but don,t know if it is original story and songs from the movie. This of course can be recorded and moved to CDR. It
can also be done from the VHS or DVD the same way.
Good luck, filling a CD Disney collection is always fun. :D

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, one of my all time favorites--I'd like to mention a few things:
1. Matt, thank you so much for the Haunted House CD recommendation--looks like great material--wonder if it's a different recording of Bing's Headless Horseman(from the film version)?
2. The LP "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Rip Van Winkle" #1285 is worth having, not only for the story, but especially to hear Thurl Ravenscroft's renditon of "The Headless Horseman"--hard to decide if I prefer Bing's or Thurl's!
3. Probably the best way to enjoy Disney's Sleepy Hollow on CD is by a transfer of the audio onto a CD-R--the CD recorder I purchased several months ago was definitely one of my best audio investments!
Michael.
