Listening to Music During the Commute

The commute

Driving home in my carpool, Friday afternoon. Got my Bluetooth stereo headset on, My Disney mp3 collection playing from an micro SD card on my BJ2. Life is grand!

Anyone else listen to their music via phone/ipod/mp3 player? I am currently using 2mb card and looking to get an 8mb one. Any recommendations, suggestions, tips?

Re: The commute

I listen to my audio on my 80GB video iPod. Life is good. ;)

I put some mp3s on my phone (4GB card) of some of my favorite songs. Because Apple is a PITA about DRM (x_x) I previously could put zero music on my phone. Now, since I'm mainly working with mp3s, I can listen to it when I'm horribly bored.

Listening on my iPod is great, though I hesitate when people ask me what songs I have on there. Nothing says "Geek" like listneing to "Horizons - Audio Attraction- Load Music (Version 2)".

Re: The commute

I have a dock connector for my ipod straight into my stereo and control it with my radio dashboard. I pretty much just make car playlists for it.

Re: The commute

I too have a socket on my car stereo to plug players into (I use an mp3 player but it'll take pretty well anything that has an aux-out or headphone socket).
Nothing like driving along with a nice BGM loop playing.
They are not too keen in the UK about having earphones on when you drive.
I always carry the mp3 player and use it if I'm in a waiting room etc (especially hospitals where the wait can be some time). I did actually go through a couple of hour-long x-ray examinations whilst listening to some nice area music.
made things a whole lot better. ;)

Re: The commute

I have a LG Env phone and I have a 2 GB micro SD card that I use in it. I have some Disney Music on it, but I have had some problems being able to play all of my music on it. I haven't really sorted it out yet and put more of my Disney music. I have a lot of Disney stuff on my sansa mp3 player and I have a cassette converter that I use to play it in my car. I clean house for a lady and nothing is better to take your mind off of a job like that than listening to Making Memories, Living with the Land, or the music from Soarin.'

I have a scenic commute along Ocean Beach in San Francisco. The other day I was driving home listening to Soarin', and lo and behold I saw a hang-glider gracefully floating over the cliffs. It was a "wow" moment.

I was listening to a recording of EEA and I saw a solar panel on a street light.
