Wonder if we will ever see a recycling of the great music from Light Magic,,, The music was awsome, show was kinda stinky but the music was great....

I find often that when Disney recycles a tune from an old show it's because either someone connected with that earlier show has moved up the ranks and has a special spot for that tune, or that they know it's got special significance for the guests. Doubt too much that the second option will bring the music of Light Magic back, but perhaps the first will.

... it already happened!!

Disneyland Resort Paris used parts of the instrumental theme music from Light Magic in their Mickey's Birthday Surprise show in the Videopolis during its tenth birthday 2002. If I remember correctly there should be something about this in an old post here on this board.

I was surprised that a bit of 'Light Magic' was not featured in the new box set. I mean...tragic or not, Light Magic *is* part of Disneyland's history.

Actually I was a little bit surprised that there was nary a mention of TL 98. The music was the one bright spot of that dark vision of the future.

Right... No TL 2055 theme/fanfare. A disappointment.

I'm still waiting for the Peoplemover to be the primary mode of transportation in my community of the future. Any updates on this would be greatly appreciated.
