I just saw the trailer for Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and the music is almost identical to the music used by disney for some ads and on the wdw website. If its not Danny Elfmans music then they sure ripped him off.

From what I remember it's the music from Addam's Family (or the sequel). It's not uncommon for music from another film to be used for a trailer, as the music for the film being advertised usually isn't completed yet.

The trailer features Elfman's EDWARD SCISSORHANDS and reportedly music from Shaiman's ADDAMS FAMILY, although I can't locate it. As X-S Tech stated, it could be from ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES.

I believe that the WDW website featured music inspired by Elfman, not the genuine article.

I couldn't remember where I had heard it before. ~3/4 of the way through, during the montage of all of the roles that Jim Carrey plays in the film.
