July 17th celebrations

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what celebrations Disney is planning at Disneyland (or Walt Disney World) on July 17? I can't seem to find any information on it anywhere.

Is anyone going to be there on July 17?

Disneyland is giving away free mouse ears and cupcakes, and will have a ceremony at 10 am. Also, they'll play Walt's opening day speech all over the park, at 4:45 pm.

I'll be at Disneyland that day, VERY early. Like, midnight. ;)

Not sure what WDW's doing.

That website will have pictures of the birthday weekend. As for me, I'll be stuck at home - but, I'm going to watch "Dateline Disneyland" at exactly 4:30pm Eastern time.
