Johnny Mathis Singing Disney Songs

I know that for those of you are not familiar with Johnny Mathis, because he covered some of his Disney songs. The three songs that covered are "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from the LP "Tender Is the Night", "Alice In Wonderland" and "When You Wish Upon a Star" from the LP "The Wonderful World of Make Believe". Both of these albums are on the Mercury label, not on Columbia, because Columbia left Johnny Mathis to go to Mercury Records for 4 years in 1964 and went back to Columbia in 1967 for his comeback LP "Up, Up and Away". I have a couple of albums by Johnny Mathis when he was at Mercury. It was produced by Global Records. Thanks to his 1997 2-CD set "The Global Masters".

Here are the songs that Johnny Mathis sang Disney songs his own way.

That's right. The intro to "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" was rare. It was also from the LP "Tender Is the Night" on the Mercury label.
