It's a Small World Renovation

I just heard "It's A Small World" will be closed for renovation from June 7, 2004 - March 18, 2005. The sad thing is im going there the last week of june. i was hopeing to see it before it closed. oh well, if anyone knows of any of the changes. please tell. ive heard of new audio animantronics, new soundtrack, the quene area being outside w/ the roof gone.

I think they are just cleaning up the exsisting soundtrack. Disneyland & Tokyo DL got re-masterd copies of the original soundtrack so that is probably what will happen @ WDW

I saw this posted on the ScreamScape web site:

Park News - (4/23/04) Disney has confirmed that Small World will close on June 7th for it?s major rehab that will improve the lighting, sound, ride system, sets and figures and just may include a few new surprises as well by the time it reopens on March 18th, 2005.

So it appears that more than just the soundtrack is going to be fixed.

I was actually making a clarification to Chrisc710's message.but yes it will be more than just a soundtrack enhancement

Disney now says the rehab will begin this Sunday (May 2) and last until "Spring 2005."
