Hyper Techno Disney

Yeah, there was a topic about this awhile ago. I have the CD. It's very strange! You have to really like Japanese style techno music. Some of the Disney tunes are almost un-recognizeable. But...if you're really into that kind of music, go for it. I thought it was going to be more like the "Eurobeat" CD's, but it's more hardcore than that.

Hello,
Thanks for the info. I actually bought it thinking it would parallel the techno/house mixed songs of Mouse House: Disney's Dance Mixes. Instead it is intense Rave styled techno. What's worse is, like you pointed out the songs are totally non-existant in most of the mixing.

I happen to like technoized music as a way of expressing creativity but this unfortunately takes too much liberty with the music and too music of the "Disney Magic" is missing. The mixes themselves are okay, though it seems that each song has the same mix.

I don't plan on throwing this CD away, but do hope for a sequel to the Mouse House album. It had quite good for techno versions of classic Disney music. Hyper Techno false very short of the Disney standard. :'(

If you do want something more along the lines of "Mouse House", then you shoud check out some of the "Eurobeat" albums. They are about as close as you're going to get. They're much tamer than "Hyper Techno Disney"

Gotta love some of the CDs the Japanese releases. The Eurobeat releases are great workout music. Bossa Disney is pretty amazing actually, with some incredible Brazilian musicians. I have to chuckle though at Chim-Chim-Cheree at the one Japanese vocalist where "a sweep is as rucky, as rucky can be."

I haven't headr Hyper Techno Disney so I can't comment on that. The most bizarre Japanese album I've come across is Disney Age @ D-100 Cafe. Especially Magic Journeys and the ending with its, I don't know, could you call them ad-libs?

"Suzy, what do you do with your spirit when its bigger, and you find it? There are some things you come to see when your spirit gets bigger."
"Ah, but some things left best untamed. Hmm."
"Yeah."
"For real."
"That's how it goes."
"Yeah, how it goes."
"Mmm"
"See."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"For real."
"That's how it goes."
"Yeah, how it goes."
