How Many Would Buy a George Wilkins CD?

George Wilkins' Music, Question!!!

Hey All! I have recently been thinking of starting a new petition for getting a CD released of disney theme park attractions with music by composer George Wilkins. I have recently spoken to Mr. Wilkins and he told me to speak to Disney to see what they can do about getting music from him. So first, before I start the new petition, how many of you would buy a cd of his theme park music?

he has done music for the following attractions, possibly more, but this is all i could find, as of right now:

Horizons

California Screamin'

The Country Bear Jamboree (Christmas Version)

The Enchanted Tiki Room - Under New Management

Food Rocks

Goofy About Health

The Great Movie Ride

Imagination Pavilion

Kilimanjaro Safaris

The Land Ride (Barn Theater & Queue)

The Living Seas Pavilion (Jason 1)

Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin

Sonny Eclipse

Superstar Limo

Test Track

Toontown Country Fair

........

So, with this, who would buy a cd of his music, please only say yes if you WILL buy a cd. as i need an exact count to send to randy.

Absolutely I would.

Disney should do a Theme Park Music Spotlight Series, and dedicate each one to a composer.

FYI George Wilkins also did wonderful work for Rankin/Bass -- the soundtrack album of THE WACKY WORLD OF MOTHER GOOSE sometimes pops up on eBay. It was available in mono and stereo on Epic Records. The movie, which is the only animated feature I know of completely designed by Paul Coker, Jr., is on DVD.

The website looks pretty cool so far. It's funny how you start off with Welcome.
BTW: Are you gonna make some more cue sheets for these rides like you did with Bruce Broughton's rides?

What music was in Test Track, besides the medley?

That makes sense due to an absence of music on the ride. Test Track is also the only pavilion at Epcot to not have area music.

Test Track has area music.

And the Seas with Nemo and Friends has squaking seagulls. ;) I love that noise in Test Track. I hope Randy releases it in next year's Album. Let's start a petition. :eek:

I think the Seas loop goes perfect with the pavilion. It adds great ambience.
