HISTA press cd -- Disneyland Paris?

As many of you know, there are eight cd-quality score tracks widely circulating from Bruce Broughton's score to Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. The track titles are "Awards Show Title," "I Give You...," "Big Problem," "Main Show Spill," etc.

I have heard tell that these short tracks derived from a cd given out to the press at the opening of HISTA at Disneyland Paris.

Here are my questions:

(1) Can anyone confirm the existence of this cd?
(2) If so, is it a pressed cd or a cdr?
(3) Is there any artwork?
(4) What else is on the cd besides these 8 tracks?

Any information that you can provide would be most appreciated! :)

The information is legitimate, but the track titles were invented by myself. I received the rips from the press CD quite some time ago. In addition to the score instrumentals, the disc contains the FRENCH soundtrack of the attraction and, for some reason, a large collection of sound effects tracks which are utterly unrelated to the HISTA film (and, judging from the sound of them, may in actual fact be a sound-effects library from either the HISTK or HIBUTK motion picture). I'm sorry I can't be any more specific regarding cover art, but all I ever received were .MP3s. I'm fairly certain, however, that this would have been a pressed CD.

Fascinating, Steve. Thanks for your response.

You don't have an actual tracklist of the cd, do you?

If you mean actual, real titles... no. All I ever received were Mp3s labeled track01 through something hideous like track99.

Wow... that does sound ridiculous.

But if I understand you correctly, there was a complete soundtrack in French? Presumably this was also cd-quality, like the 8 score excerpts? Has this track ever been circulated?

Sorry to pose so many questions

Dr. Know, who doesn't

Actually, what the track is, is simply the main show's French dialogue only... not the complete mixed soundtrack. Sorry for the confusion.

I've never actually pushed the track out to anyone, but I do know that others have it and are free to trade it around. Honestly, it's not all that interesting unless you're French, a DLP fan, or want to be amused by Rick Moranis' French vocal double...
