Hey There, Hi There, Ho There

Hi everyone!

I'm so glad I found you. I am a huge fan of Disney music, especially attraction music from the parks. I have fun putting together compilation cds of my favorite pieces.

This site is awesome! I had no idea there were other people out there who are as obsessed as I am with things like the entrance loops at Disneyland.

I look forward to learning from everyone here, and expect to post a number of questions.

My favorite piece of theme park music: the orchestral arrangement of Listen to the Land from the original Epcot Entrance loop.

My favorite park cd: Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show -- I paid way too much for a sealed original cd on ebay, but I LOVE it!

The piece I would most like to have: Bruce Broughton's fantastic music from Honey I Shrunk the Audience, and The Timekeeper (ok, that's two). Anyone know if these can be found anywhere? I have mediocre mp3s of them...

That's all for now!

Are you still looking for the last two?
The last two being Broughton's music for HISTA and The Timekeeper...

If Jim will permit, let me answer with a resounding YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

Better-quality mp3s have surfaced here and there since his post above, but these both deserve high-quality, uncompressed, OFFICIAL releases. And add The Making of Me and Le Visionarium to that list.

With the release of the Broughton 2-CD promo which included a track from Ellen's Energy Adventure (Crisis), I had high hopes that more may be in the works. Unfortunately, nothing else in the way of Broughton's Disney theme park music has been released since. :'(

How bizarre to find my very first post on this board has resurfaced. It only took 3 years for someone to respond; not bad really.

Doug took the words out of my mouth. Sadly, Broughton's theme park music remains poorly represented on cd.

HISTA @ 1:48 192
Ellen's Energy Adventure @ 4:48 192
I can't seem to locate the copy of the Timekeeper
The Ellen track you have appears to be the one made available on the 2-CD promo released several years ago.

There are a number of versions of the Timekeeper and Visionarium shows and music out there, but I believe that all are either live recordings, magnetic induction recordings, or recordings made via the IR assisted listening device. Most are of poor quality, unfortunately.
