Fairy Tale Wedding at the Ambassador / Miracosta Hotels

First of all: sorry if this was already discusses (I thought so but couldn't find any information when I searched for it). Now on to my question:

Does anybody have any information regarding the two CD releases "Fairy Tale Wedding at the Ambassador Hotel" and "Fairy Tale Wedding at the Miracosta Hotel" of TDR??

In particular: are the two CDs including instrumental versions or just the regular recordings from the OSTs? And if it should be instrumental recordings: are those new recordings?

Finally something I found when looking for information about these two CDs: next week a new CD is supposed to be released in Japan: "Disney on Brass" - as far as I understand it will include instrumental recordings of Disney standards performed by a brass band. I have to admit I am curious and consider ordering it...

I know you tease because you care. Why else would you scour the used record stores in Japan for this stuff?

Dirk, as to your question, I can answer only partially. I have these two albums and they are indeed instrumental versions of the songs, and not from the OST's. The only thing is that, like Bill said, Japan has released a TON of instrumental CD's over the years, so it's really hard to say for sure if any of this material is indeed new. It did sound new to me though, but it really could be from any number of past CD's, just compiled together.

Thanks Ben! That info already greatly helps ... regarding instrumental recordings from Japan my collection is still rather limited, so I might just give those a try
