Hey, all.

Since I haven't been to Disney World for a couple of year, and I haven't seen it since 1993, does the Electrical Water Pagent still exist? I have some video of it from 1988 to 1993, and it obviously didn't change much then, but everythign changes at WDW now.

Also. howzabout the Hoop Dee Doo Revue?

The Elecrical Water Pageant on the lagoon is still running every night, same bat times, same bat locations . The music got changed in the mid-1990's...instead of the classical music, they play synthesized music from The Little Mermaid. IMHO, it was not an improvement. But that was my FAVORITE thing at WDW during my first trip when I was 12 and they messed with it, so....

The Hoop Dee Doo Revue is still playing. They cut out the later show, though...that happened after 9/11. But yup, you can still get corny jokes and Strawberry Shortcake at Pioneer Hall on a nightly basis .

As the newer resorts* (Grand Floridian,Wilderness Lodge & Ft Wilderness) were added did the EWP inherit the stops those locations @ that time or has it been stopping @ all those spots even before the other hotels were built?

Thanks for the info guys and gals.

It is a shame, though I guess that I understand , ]maybe?], why things change. However, somethings are just too much fun to monkey, or Mickey, with. I remember when I would stay at the Polynesian and you would hear the first notes that meant the floats were coming. As silly as it could be, you still ran out on the beach or the end of the dock to watch something that you had watched dozens of times before.

As for HOOP DEE DOO, you would groan at the same jokes over and over.[ Did ya kick the bucket, Davy? No, I just turned a little pail!]

Change is good. [I'll keep repeating it till I believe it.}

I saw the EWP for the first time in 1979 and no, it didn't stop at the "future site of the GF" at that time . I'm not positive, but I THINK it only had 3 stops back then (Poly, Contemp and Ft. W.) and when they added the GF, they added a stop.
