Disney's Lost Chords

has an article on a new book called DISNEY'S LOST CHORDS, which looks at 77 songs that were written for Disney animated and live action films, but never used. It says that it includes the piano/vocal arrangements of all songs. It is available from the publisher, and is limited to 1,000 copies.

If he did, it's a shame that he thought so little of this effort. I wonder if Admiral Boom can shed some light on the subject. . .

Russell was at the EMP last November and gave an outstanding presentation about "Lost Chords". Later he told us that he approached Disney and other publishers without interest. He felt so strong about it, that he put up his own money to publish the book. he wanted it to be quality, so he made it hardcover and table sized. that is why it is limited as this was all he could afford, 1000 copies.

One of our club members advance purchased the book and brought it to our last meeting. Very well done, great stories, artwork never seen by any of our members, some who are Dsiney art cell experts. The sheet music is fantastic and can be played right out of the book.
