Disney's Battle Hymn Of The Republic

Hi!

I have bit of a wacky question for you all:
I was listening to the Yankee Doodle Mickey CD today and have actually enjoyed the Molly Ringwald version of The Battle Hymn of the Republic. However, she only sings two verses in it and I know off the top of my head at least four verses. I imagine there could be a much longer version produced.

Does anyone know if Disney has released (or not released) a longer version of The Battle Hymn of the Republic? Call me wierd, but I've really enjoyed this version. Thanks in advance!

Duh... Huh?

Greg Ehrbar and I were discussing this item over the weekend, and something seems to be amiss (or maybe it's a mister). The only versions of YANKEE DOODLE MICKEY we are familiar with feature Ms. Molly singing "God Bless America," "This Is My Country," and "Star Spangled Banner," but the "Battle Hymn" is the old early 1960s MelloMen version first heard on the AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL and SONGS OF OUR HERITAGE LP's. IS there actually a version of Y.D. MICKEY out there with young Ringwald singing the Battle Hymn? That isn't out of the realm of possibility, but we just wanted to be sure we were all talking about the same song.

Tim, I made a BIG mistake! I forgot to review what I wrote before I sent it the first time. You are correct, the song is NOT sung by Molly Ringwald, somehow I got my wires crossed. I'm sorry!

Now that I check, I'm seeing references to Powell Studios Power Chorus. So now I have TWO Questions:
1) Who sings the song?
2) Is there a longer version (with more verses) available?

Thanks again in advance!
