Disneyland: The First Fifty Years Lobby BGM

Hello:

Did anyone ever compile a playlist for the "Disneyland: The First Fifty Years" Lobby BGM?

This is purely out of curiosity, since I never made it out to Disneyland for the anniversary - I remember people saying it was a collection of "old" tracks rather than a newly composed loop, and I was wondering if it was something one could put together from available sources.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Not yet that I've seen, but the good news is that the exhibit is still there so there's still time left.

Thanks for the response - yeah, I really kick myself for not getting to Disneyland during the 50th, but I'm glad to hear the exhibit is still going on.

Hopefully someone will compile a list before it's all over. It's a surprisingly well documented (photographed) exhibit - I just happen to really like and am interested in the music stuff.

Sucks living in the Mid-West - can't just pop over to California and make a list myself.

Under the Sea (I believe the same version that appears in the Esplanade/Main Entrance Loop, but I could be wrong)
Honey I shrunk the Audience Underscore (the same that was released on the New OA's but also contains more music- that elusive bridge that doesn't seem to be floating out there)

Something from Pooh too but I couldn't tell if it was area music or inst from the attraction.

oh, that elusive bridge.... if only it had turned up on the new OAs.... the frustration continues....

Ok, now if I had asked for a playlist for this, and some guy kept chiming in on multiple posts with just vague information and no hard facts, well frankly I'd be fed up.

However I haven't heard any complaints yet so I have more vague info for you :) ! After that HISTA piece it goes into an instrumental of Woody's Roundup, then an inst of You can Fly from the 83 Peter Pan's Flight.

I certainly do not mind vague information.

Having read your comments, I'm wondering if the lobby loop is similiar to or the same as the current Magic Kingdom / Tokyo Disneyland Entrance Loops.

This was posted on Kirsten's site, but for some reason I can't get it to load - might just be my computer.

If someone actually has the playlist in front of them and has heard pieces of the lobby loop, perhaps they could compare.

Yep, the first 9 minutes of the Tokyo Disneyland main Entrance loop sound exactly like what I remember from this exhibit. I know the exhibit uses a rather short loop, but I would have guessed 20min or so. We should probably see if there's anything else used in the exhibit, but most likely it came from this TDL loop. Good job wedroy!

Hooray for maybe solving a mystery - but it's kind of a let down.

I was expecting there to be more "park" related music in the lobby loop - and I find the new Main Entrance loops at MK and TDL to be, well, odd. There is no Grim-Grinning Ghosts and Yo Ho is used twice . . . no Tiki Room, no Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow . . . I don' t know, it just seems like a wierd loop to use for the exhibit.

Any confirmation, though, regarding the lobby loop is appreciated.

Sorry about this one! Little update on the situation here:
the site is currently stored on a server at a friend's house, and after many years of faithful service, said server is finally kicking the bucket. There's some work being done now to move stuff over to a new one (shared server *sniff), but it's all in limbo at the moment. Hoping to be back up soon, though! I do have a full backup on my harddrive, so nothing is being lost.

It doesn't make it any easier that my home is still without power five days after a major windstorm, either. :p (thankfully I have generous friends with warm homes and internet!)
