Disneyland Paris Xmas fireworks music

Does anyone know if this has been issued - or if not, where a decent recording can be found? ;)

I just bought the CD of the new Xmas parade "Chant, c'est Noel", which is excellent, but I'd love the Xmas fireworks music too. I've shot it on video twice now, and want to edit a neat version with a better soundtrack.

Also, if you're tempted to buy the CD single for "Need Magic" - don't bother! It's a pretty dire euro-pop mess. The campaign seems a nice idea, shame about the title track!

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there,

let me say one thing about the "Need Magic?"-song you bought: I don't know wether it will actually be used in the campaign or not. This song was composed by the resort's music director and recorded by a cm-chorus to benefit UNICEF which receives all proceedings from the CD-sales.

Regarding the Christmas Fireworks: it is a heavily(!) edited version of 1995 Stardus Christmas from Tokyo Disneyland, which should still be available on the CD "Christmas Fantasy 2000" from Tokyo Disneyland. Paris never released their edited version.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I've got that track, now for a little editing...

And as for Need Magic - well, let's just hope they don't use it for the campaign, eh? Jay & Vasile have done some really good stuff... but this isn't exactly the best example of their work IMHO.

I just went back to this project, so I can edit a clean soundtrack for my video of the DLP Xmas fireworks... and there seems to be a short bit at the end of the DLP show that isn't on the 1995 Stardust Christmas track from Tokyo Disneyland (or at least not on the version I've got, anyway).

It's about 35 seconds of "We wish you a merry Christmas" and the audio style fits perfectly with the rest of the recording so I presume it's from a fuller version of the Tokyo show. Any ideas where I can obtain this last little bit, as it's really annoying having spent a couple of hours getting the rest of it neatly edited only to find I'm missing the end! I can upload my camcorder track somewhere for reference, if that's any help.

Many thanks for any help anyone can provide!

on Christmas Fantasy, there are two tracks.... "1995 Stardust Christmas I" and "1995 stardust christmas II"

the last track contains the end of the DLP fireworks music, with the song etc. I'm not 100% sure though.

you're right about the Need Magic song... worse thing is, they use it in Mainstreet as music for a little chracter parade. I thought the Imaginations Parade music was annoying, but this.... other people said they also heard it on Frontlot...
sad... sad... sad ... :(
