Screwed again.... the soundtrack to Cinderella 3 is released as a digital download only, with just one 2:42 score track by Joel McNeely...

and inexplicably, the album shows up in the iTunes store but when you try to buy either the whole album or the McNeely track, you get an error message indicating that it is "not available for purchase in the U.S. iTunes store."

Great.

Hmm, maybe not everyone is as generous as Randy is...

because this isn't exactly the forum for this; I'll hold off on my detailed feelings, but overall, I TRULY enjoyed "Cinderella III".
Very sweet and wonderful message (though it's plot is eerily like Drew Barrymore's "Ever After").
The music is pretty good and if a soundtrack becomes available, I will surely buy it!

I watched C3 with my family last night, expecting the worst, and was pleasantly surprised. After an overly-cute and obnoxious opening, the movie actually got...intelligent!

The score worked well. I found the songs fairly blah and too modern (and what's with Cinderella ripping off Belle's big moment from Beauty and the Beast?) but I did enjoy Gus and Jaq's number "At the Ball." I'd buy that one if it becomes available.

I loved the fact that they, quite unexpectedly, developed the King as a character with depth. The bit where he genuinely liked Anastasia *because* of her clumsiness was the film's turning point for me: It was a remarkably untypical scene.

Also, seeing Lucifer as a human hitman was worth the price of the disc. Bad Kitty!

Several pop recordings from this DVD are available for download on Walmart.com I have never used this service and know nothing about it. I did try to make it into something they call a "custom cd", but it would not allow me to. Looks like it's available for download only.

Our family watched it last night and all of us were also impressed with how entertaining CINDERELLA III was. The animation was nice, the score pleasant, and the art direction outstanding (they REALLY studied the look of the original film this time).

Also, Cinderella got to do some Indiana Jones-type stuff, yet retained it never seemed out of her sweet character. Anastasia came across as a person who would have turned out different had she hung out with a different crowd. And the prince got a lot more to do than lip-sync Mike Douglas' singing.

Speaking of voices, they were all impressive. BTW, if the prince sounded familiar, it's because he's also Prince Eric in Little Mermaid -- Christopher Daniel Barnes.

And the songs were written by the same team who did the songs for the Disney Cruise Line show, "Twice Charmed!"

Nice job!

Oh oh. I've never really liked the "cheap-quels", but it looks like this is a good one. I'm going to gather more opinions, though.

The soundtrack still cannot be downloaded from the U.S. iTunes store, although the samples are available. Apparently, it can be downloaded from Walmart.com, so clearly there is an issue with the iTunes store on this title. I sent an email yesterday to lodge a complaint, and 24 hours later got a form email in return thanking me for my feedback.

Randy, are you reading this? Nobody in the U.S. can download this soundtrack from iTunes.

... maybe they decided this soundtrack should be available outside the US only to compensate for all the releases international fans can not download??

Just kidding ...

;)

Are they the same songs as the Cruise Line show "Twice Charmed," which seems to have a similar story line?

I went to the Itunes site, and I don't even see the album listed. I couldn't find anything at WalMart.com either, so maybe I am just tech-impaired. :p

Does anyone have a listing of the tracks?

It now appears that the un-downloadable cd has been removed from the iTunes music store, presumably to correct the problem with this title. It should reappear soon. Sorry, I don't have the tracklist, but you should be able to find it on Walmart.com (look in the music downloads section).

Looks like it's disappeared from both Itunes and Walmart.com. I tried to locate it this morning for downloading but couldn't on either location. Maybe it's been removed so Disney can release it on CD??

Well, this is the most mysterious release in a long time!

At least I feel better that it was removed, not that I'm too stupid to find it!
