Nice! I just request playlists and you go out and do them. I do owe you some Boat Drinks!

Isn't the Bellevue Lounge Old Time Radio Broadcast the same as the lobby music?

No. See above.

Ah, I see. I was going to use the old radios in the lounge to make an induction recording of the lobby music, as they play the same music in the morning/afternoon, which are the times I checked out the music last weekend.

Looks like this stuff is on shuffle...

I hate shuffle mode...

The old playlist I gave you had three (if I am remembering correctly) old big band compilation CDs as the reference CDs for the lobby music. Any idea whether the tracks you captured come from these CDs?

they [the radios] play the same music [as the lobby] in the morning/afternoon

You are correct. The radios in the lounge echo the lobby area music all day and night - except for 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM when they switch to old time radio shows - that is why I titled the placeholder "Old Time Radio Broadcast." :p

There is a sign just beyond the lobby, by the way, that advertises the old time radio broadcast.

Any idea whether the tracks you captured come from these CDs?

You will have to e-mail me a copy of the list again. I tossed it out shortly after you gave it to me as I knew they weren't playing Royal Crown Revue on the boardwalk.

While at the Boardwalk this week, I noticed three different BGMs.

One was playing on the Boardwalk itself: piano, that sort of thing.

The second was in the bathroom of Seashore Sweets, which had some sort of an Eastern Flair to it. I managed to get a clean live recording of the song.

The third was playing in the Screen Door Emporium. This may have been the same song as the one above, but I'm only half sure.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

It's a bummer I can't see the song list of the music played at the Boardwalk resort, but I just found this website. Does anyone know or have a list of the music played there? I've literally been trying to find out for years.

I'm not exactly sure, I remember hearing it while walking outside on the boardwalk. I do not recall if I heard it anywhere else, possibly but not sure. Definitely outside though.

The good news is that the Lakeshore playlist was not removed from here. Unfortunately, the bad news is also that the Lakeshore playlist was not removed from here. Meaning... it's still on my "To Do" list.

I hope to have the BoardWalk Lobby/Concierge and Belle Vue Lounge playlists back up shortly. I am actually working on both of them right now. As for the Lakeshore, I hope to get out there sometime in the next couple of days in order to grab a new reference recording. :)

Note that I am referring to the outdoor boardwalk area as the "Lakeshore" in order to avoid any "BoardWalk" (idiotic trendy spelling with uppercase letter in the middle) vs "boardwalk" confusion. The boardwalk area isn't labeled as anything on the BoardWalk Resort Map, but Disney does refer to the lakeshore in the Epcot Resort Area Guidemap's accompanying text ("...see all the fun in store on the lakeshore"), so that is what I am going to use. Otherwise, I'd be stuck having to use something like "BoardWalk Boardwalk." Er, no, I don't think so.

I've been hoping to add this music to my collection too. Any chance it could return (and the current Polynesian list)? I do appreciate the time and effort it takes to create and maintain the site and lists. I will renew my Premium Membership and encourage others to do so.

I will try to spend some time this week getting the BoardWalk and Polynesian lists online. I need to get the iTunes link code working again in the process.

The forum hasn't had very many posts for quite some time now. I have actually been thinking about replacing it with a Joomla- or Wordpress-based website. It would provide a much better system for things like playlists, and album cover art, but its messaging capability would be limited. But, with posts being practically non-existent, I am not seeing that as much of a loss.

would blogs and playlists be moved over or would we have to do them again?
Mind you, the total hits on the blogs are impressive and continue to rise in number so that section is still very active.
