Nice to see you.......lurking(?), Sharon! I've been preoccupied myself lately--various familial crisises. Glad I'm not the only one who didn't appreciate that "falling house" comment; I'm not sure where that came from, but it was way out of line. Heading down your way next week, barring any more crisises(when I've made reservations lately, it seems that as soon as I firm them up, my next question is what is the cancellation deadline!)!

This must be one of the stupidest and most self-serving threads in recent memory.
If they are gone: Goodbye
If they are back: Welcome
If they are (and this is my personal opinion) back and using new names with which they can post basically sarcastic responses that have little to do with the topic: Please Stop
If, on the other hand, they decide to post responses that ARE on topic (which they did do in the past) and be the helpful, elderly statesmen/women of the board: Well, then It's Great to have you back.
Here's wishing for the latter!

You know....this board used to be lively and fun and DIVERSE. I don't know who killed it, but I have to think it's related to the overabundance of mouth-breathing, next-level, pin-collectors in attendance. For every one of you that worries about calling at the crack of dawn on April 24th or whether the set will come packaged so that it fits neatly on your shelf, there is one of us, who enjoys the music JUST AS MUCH AS YOU but has a different perspective than you. There is room for EVERYONE on here...at least there USED to be. When this board starts catering to the lowest common denominator is when it ceases to be a DISCUSSION board and mutates into a group therapy session.

If by lively, fun, and diverse... you mean WAY off topic, stupid, multiple fake screen names, and infantile posts, then thanks for your contributions. If thats not what you meant, then go look at a dictionary.
It always makes me laugh when one geek tries to make fun of other geeks. It's a riot. Appearantly, pin-collectors (which Im not, and please shoot me if I ever do!) are a sub-species ( in Lems eyes at least) to the music lovers. Appearantly, people who enjoy somewhat intelligent discussion that attempts to stay on topic (obviously there are times to joke and play... we aint dead!) are the 'lowest common denominator' ( in Lems eyes).
Grow up. smarten up, and go back to using your original screen names.

So please, do us all a favor and stop trying to justify your behavior by attempting to put others down. A sense of humor is one thing... your behavior and rational for that behavior is another thing entirely, and is not appriciated. :-
