Balaf?n Marimba Ensemble

A particular favorite of mine is the background loop that introduces WDW guests to Adventureland when entering from the hub. (A wonderful picture spot and a sure sound that Dole Whips are just ahead to the right after crossing the bridge.)

Some questions about this loop:

1. What played at this location prior to this loop? (Album's release date is 1992.)
2. Does it play at DL? (According to others it plays at the Adventureland restaurant 'Hakuna Matata' in DLP.)
3. Does this music still play at AK in the Safari Village area? (MagicMusic thread from 2000.)

1. Not sure on that one.

2. I definitely have not heard it at Disneyland, at least in recent years!

3. As of the last time I was at DAK in May 2003, I do remember hearing some tracks from Balafon Marimba Ensemble. Not sure if anything's changed since then, though.
