At last! "Second Star to the Right" as a RAP!!!

For those who have been waiting patiently, your day has finally come. One of the extras on the new Peter Pan DVD is a cover version of "Second Star to the Right" by T-Squad (OH yeah!!! T-Squad!!!.....never heard of them)...which begins with a rap. Anywhere else, this would be listed on the menu under "travesty"...here it's listed as "bonus" YEAH!!! Gee...do you suppose T-Squad has a Disney contract?

Now...you or I might have chosen the somewhat more rap-friendly "You Can Fly"...but happily, T-Squad has elected to ruin the more unsympathetic "Second Star to the Right".

Not since Dr. Frankenstein reawoke the dead has there been such a feat of reanimation as Richard Sherman's wonderfully bland reworking of an old, dead song lyric. To me it's soul-less, but no doubt there will be people on this forum who love it. ("It's Magical!") Meanwhile...in the intervening years since she played Belle, somehow Paige O'Hara, who sings the song, has morphed into Peg Bundy.

On the brighter side, there is an ORIGINAL deleted song included as a bonus. Years ago I bought some discarded storyboards from "Peter Pan" and always wondered where they came from....now I know. Definitely a song worthy of being cut from the film...but a fun "bonus" for those of us old school Disney fans.

Haven't you heard Bill, Disney's not cool anymore. If you want people to like you you have to demean your talents and legacy.
