Anyone know who provides the parades chours singers???

Hi Disney Music fans,
i was just wondering if anyone knows who are the singers of the Disneyland Parades that perform in the parks? The reason im wondering is cause in the linear notes they normally don't say who the singers are. Who are these mystery people? are they the same people who provide vocals for all of Disney Parks Shows and Parades? I know that Sally Stevens used to be a parade singer, and of course David Wise and Michelle Amato! Maybe Rick would know? BTW rick! I love the song you created "OUR HALLOWEEN PARTY" for Tokyo Disneyland's Happy Haunted Parade! Its so Magical!Iv'e been singing it all week! lol, I really hope that you'll write more magical music for the parks! You are so talented and gifted Disney needs you!.

I'm SO glad you've posted this topic! More than wanting to write for Disney, my biggest goal for years has been to write for the Disney singers. There are basically two sets of Disney singers ? one group based in Orlando and the other in California. My favorite group is definitely the FL group (they sing for all the FL, TDL and some DL shows). They have such an incredible blend... it's pretty unreal. People have thought their vocal harmonies are synthesized or pitch-corrected for years, but after hearing some sessions, I can attest that it is all natural and real. Most all shows/parades are recorded by a group of six... the six most recognizable voices are as follows: Sarah Moore (chorus leader), Michelle Amato, Michelle Lindahl, David Wise, Juan Cantu and Kurt von Schmittou. Of course, there have been others but this group has been the Disney show voices since the 90's. Some things they've sang: "Everyday's A Holiday", "Remember The Magic Parade/Finale", "SpectroMagic", "Dream Along With Mickey", ALL the TDL parades and shows (DOP Moving On), more recently, the TDL Halloween Parade!!!

Michelle Lindahl and David Wise usually sing the solo stuff; ie. The Wishes duet version, David sang the "Splashdance" song for TDL, they both sang the solo stuff for Blazing Rhythms, Michelle sang "Celebrate The Future Hand in Hand" from the 2000 album. I know there's more but I'm trying to type as fast as I'm thinking.

I truly believe they are some of the most talented performers in the business ? not only are their voices out of this world, but they can sing these Disney sessions for 10 plus hours at a time and never get vocally fatigued! As you can probably tell, I'm quite the fan. It has been the most incredible blessing to get to work with and know them over the past few years. I remember listening to the "Remember The Magic Finale" at WDW during the 25th Anniversary when I was 12 and thinking how amazing it would be to have those incredible singers sing your music. Some of the TDL albums listed their names, but that was all I had. Through the CRAZIEST turn of events, I met David Wise in Tulsa, OK when he was playing the lead in a show called "The Rock and the Rabbi" and that really started it all. Now 10 years after starting my quest to find the Disney singers, I actually know them and they are singing my music! I always hoped I would write for Disney but I was afraid those singers would leave by the time I got my chance. Dream come true!!

Sorry for rambling, but I just love to tell that story. Hope this has been enlightening in some way!

thats so awesome! I kinda knew that there was more disney theme park singers! I just couldn't think of their names! lol. Rick are you doing any music for Tokyo's 25th next year? that would just be awesome if you did!. I already heard that the parade is going to be spectacular! I hope they give us a Catchy song like they have with Disney Carnival and Disney's Dreams On Parade!

The CA group did "Fantasmic" and a lot of the stuff for TDS. The CA group did more stuff for Disney back in the 70's and 80's... now everything's mostly FL singers.

All we know so far is "Precious Treasures". I don't think anything else has leaked out...they are really keeping this one under wraps.

They told us some interesting, though not really revealing info at the tokyo auditions related to the 25th parade heh. Nothing to do with the music of course though. :/ I'm still looking for the version of Kiss the girl we danced to because I'd never heard it before.
