Any possibility of a new DCA music album?

I was listening to the Music from DCA CD a little while ago, and realized just how much of the CD is obsolete now. The first five tracks alone are no longer at the park. So, with the Disneyland 50th OA, and the retrospective boxed set, are there also any plans to do a new DCA album?

i really wish they would update this album most of the stuff on it is outdated or does not even exist anymore oh well we can only hope that this is a new project in the works but here's the way i envision the new album.

Disney's California Adventure-The official album 2005

Sunshine Plaza
*california girls (beach boys)

Hollywood pictures backlot
***Tower of Terror
*A Whole New World (from disneys aladdin musical)
*Who wants to be a millionare theme song

Golden State
*Soarin Over California
*Golden Dreams

Bugs Land
*Its tough to be a bug
*Its the time of you life(backround music)

Paradise Pier
*California Screamin

Parkwide
*disneys electrical parade
*block party bash

At this time, there are no plans to update the album. This is mainly because I'm so busy at the moment. After the Poppins 40th, Disneyland's 50th, and next years WDW 2 Disc Official album, I'll bring up a DCA OA update. But I do concur, the album is sadly out of date. But truth be told, with "Lights, Camera, Chaos" and "Steps In Time" removed from the park so soon, the album was actually out-of date a week after it hit the shelves.

Originally, there were those that wanted the DCA update to be part of the Disneyland set, but there was no way I was going to let that happen.

There are also some things in the works that make it a good decision to wait a while before the next update.

Good Call Randy. How is the set coming along by the way? Im personally, as well as many other members, looking forward to it.

Thanks, Randy. So, even though it's not in the current pipeline, it's at least being thought about. It's a shame about the album though, because I don't think there has been a CD that has become out-of-date as fast as the DCA CD did. Even the Official Album of DL and WDW from 1980 lasted a few good years before any of the attractions were removed or changed.

Am I the only one who noticed this teaser? Can we assume this is a hint at things to come for DCA?

Well, you know, it just so happens that I don't have anything going myself lately so I *guess* I could be put upon to be your assistant. I mean, if you *are* so busy you need some help, right?

You dirty dog give us a clue :)
