Well, Disneyland had one for it's 10th Birthday, written by the Sherman Brothers called "Disneyland Anniversary March". I think that for Disneyland's 25th, they used "Disneyland is Your Land". For WDW's 10th, there was the Tencennial song, and "Disney World is Your World". Also, for Disneyland's 35th, they had the Party Gras song.

What were the names of the songs used at WDW for the 15th and 20th celebrations? I can't recall.

Also, Disneyland Paris had a song for the 10th Anniversary called "10th Anniversary Song" (how original!) It was released on the 10th Anniversary CD.

Here is the updated list. Please feel free to add.

The songs on the top half are songs I already have a recording of. The bottom half are ones I can't find. If you have any of the recordings I can't find, please let me know how I can obtain a copy.

Thanks for your help.

I remember one from Walt Disney World's 15th anniversary. The lyrics went something like:

15 years - we're having a party
15 years - a party all year long

Anyone else remember that one?

No, the Surprise Celebration was the 20th anniversary. I don't really remember a theme song from that one, although that doesn't mean there wasn't one.

And the only name I remember for the 15th anniversary celebration was "15 Years of Magic". Interestingly, last night at church one of the teenagers was wearing a WDW 15 Years t-shirt he had gotten at a second hand store. Cool!

For Disneyland's 40th, I believe the song was "40 Years of Adventure". They used it in the Magic Kingdom Kabaret live show that was held on the Tomorrowland Terrace Stage, and there might have been a version for the tv special that they filmed in front of the castle (I remember watching them film it).

One of the years Tokyo Disneyland used a version of Party Gras in Japanese-- I don't remember if it was for an anniversary or not. You can find that track, but I haven't seen any decent quality versions of Party Gras in English.

Tokyo Disneyland's Party Gras parade was different from Disneyland's. It was also not for an anniversary, so the lyrics were different. Tokyo Disneyland's was in 1992, and Disneyland's was in 1990. WDW also had a version of the Party Gras parade for it's 20th birthday in 1991, but the song was not the same. And now that I'm thinking about it, Steve was right, because it was the Surprise Celebration. I got the 15th & 20th mixed up.

Oh yeah, Disneyland also had a special song for the 45th anniversary. I can't remember the name of that one either, but part of it is in the Believe...There's Magic in the Stars fireworks show. I remember working at the Disney Store during that anniversary and there was a commercial that had the entire song with lyrics, but I've never seen or heard the song floating around anywhere.

Yes I do, it was a very danceable tune.

Also I would like to add that...if memory serves me well... Tokyo Disneyland's 5th anniversary song might have been "It's there a Band big enough". This song seems tro play everytime they flashback to the 5th anniversary, as seen on the video monitors at TDL's Disney Gallery. It was also the theme song for thier 5th anniversary parade Disney Classics on Parade (1988).

Fast forward to 2002, and some one correct me if Iam wrong but the DisneySea 1st anniversary song might have been "Thanks to you" which was played during TDS's first anniversary celebration at the end of DisneySea Symphony.

Can anyone correct me??

Also, WDW 15th was "We are Having a party", and if not mistaken, the Tencennial song was called "Tencennial: a year long, a smile wide". The 20th anniversary is a toughy since all I can remember was a calypso type tune similar to Party Gras and for some reason "Surprise Celebration" comes to mind but I can't remember even if my life depended on it.

As a side note, "Disneyland is your Land" which was DL's 25th aniversary song and used at WDW during the Tencennial Parade and Land's Medley show, was also the official TDL song upon TDL's opening, and also used in japanese in their "Disneyland is your land" show...way back in 83.

God do I feel old right now... :'(

Hey Everyone,

I found an old tape I made of the 15th Anniversary parade music and transcribed what I could understand. Thought it might provide a trip down memory lane for those of you who saw it.

Wow, so 80s! ;D

Enjoy! :)
