Hey, yall!

This post is WAY overdue. Here are some pictures of the AMAZING voices that create Disney music magic. You?ve heard them on everything from ?Remember the Magic?, the ?Good Morning Show? at MK, ?Toy Story Parade?, ?Disney Dreams On Parade?, ?Make a Wish?, ?Everyday?s a Holiday?, ?Wishes?, ?Magic in the Stars?, ?Feel the Magic?, ?Blazing Rhythms?, ?Disney Mania?, ?D-Pop Magic?, EVERY the TDL parade and show, all the Kids of the Kingdom music, ?Cinderellabration?, ?Cinderella?s Surprise Celebration?, ?SpectroMagic? and COUNTLESS others. They are the creators of "that Disney sound". It?s such a shame they will never get the credit they so rightly deserve. ?EARS TO YOU, Disney chorus!!!! You rock my world!

Have a magical day,
-Rick

Those are the people that make it happen. Thanks for letting the world (or at least the DMD) put a face and name with those amazing voices. Who is that funny looking guy on the left side of David Wise?

Cool beans!

I can add Kurt von Schmittou, Rene Ruiz, Michelle Mailhot-Valines, Andrea Canny and Kevin Miles to the "names" list and can conjure up some pictures if I search not-too-hard.

BTW, Kurt von Schmittou is on Broadway now, in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

wow, i have always wanted to know who were the singers behind the great show/parade music and themes.

is there anyway we could find out more background on them?

it seems disney likes to hire the same singers over and over - it seems they have done stuff for every park, especially TDR.

did any of them sing on Parade of Dreams or Block Party?

I know that Kurt von Schmittou has been on just about every TDL recording for the past 5 to 10 years. He told me that in an email while I was in TDL this past April and I could've SWORN I heard him, so I asked .

But yeah, they DO tend to use the same performers over and over again, not just for vocals, but for acting/entertainment too. But it makes sense...if they're already on payroll, they already know them AND they're the easiest to contact and audition.

They're also the BEST vocal harmonizers EVER to walk the Earth!!! :) No wonder they use the same people.
