1970's resort tv show-"Disney World, Walt Disney World" song in contemporary

Does anyone remember the video that used to be shown in the Contemporary and Polynesian during the late 1970's that had an ending song, I guess, titled "Disney World, Wlat Disney World".

It had an actress dressed up as a MK tour guide and had everyone waving on main street at the end.

What was the name of this video and how long did it run...and more importantly...does anyone have a copy?

We went to WDW in 1979 and I don't remember specifics like that. I don't know how many times you've been to WDW or when was the last time you went, so if you already know this, forgive me. But WDW has a looped "this is what's happening at WDW" video, that tells you park times, descriptions of all the attractions, etc., that changes periodically. Could you have seen something like that?

Yes, I remember that song very well. It was the WDW information channel which gave a tour of the entire resort. I believe it repeated every 15 minutes or so. I do remember it from 1976 when we stayed at the Polynesian. That song got stuck in my brain as much as "It's A Small World" and "Now Is The Time". I have never seen any video or audio of it since the 70's.

On a similar note, I remember the WDW information channel from 1982 right after Epcot Center opened. There was this cool new agey-synth music playing while they toured Future World. I always loved that song. The PGA Tour used the same music on their Inside The PGA show in the late 80's. I have never found that music. I would love to find out what it was. Does anyone remember it?

Yes...that is the one I was talking about...I also remember a pan out of the monorail enroute to the contemporary to the music of "Let's Go Fly A Kite"....

To see that footage again would be a blessing....

There are a couple of possibilities. If it's the song I'm thinking of , I think it was from the "The Magic of Walt Disney World" theatrical short from 1972. I could be wrong though.

It could also be one of the songs used for WDW's 10th anniversary, but that would have been 1981, not the 70's.

No it's not from "The Magic Of Walt Disney World". I have a copy of that and the song is definitely different. The only place I ever remember hearing the song is on the WDW information channel in the 70's.

Was that the program that the disney cahnnel aired in '85 and was pre space mountain...?
