I saw it last night at the 20th Century Music Store and snapped a shot of the song list on the back, to compare it at home with my copy of the 33rd Anniversary disc. The contents of both lists are exactly the same.

In general, I don't mind song-heavy soundtracks, particularly if they were memorable in the film. But I agree the songs don't appear to offer any originality on the surface, just gimmick. That said, I need to wait and see; after all, I bought "Shrek 2" and I liked it (for what it was)...

Thanks for that tip. I still have mine in the shrinkwrap. I have no doubt I'll open it eventually. And I do own a turntable, but I think I'll breakdown and purchase the CD from Disneyland.

Sheesh, there was a LOT I learned. Amazing how much history and details can be told regarding some of these tracks. Me, I just enjoy letting the music push nostalgia buttons in me and putting a smile on my face. But learning some of the history is always a plus. Thanks for the link, David S.
