OT: Next Wave of Walt Disney Treasures

Perhaps a little WDW material? As for animated stuff, they could do a second rarities set, with It's tough to be a bird, Dad can i borrow the car, and more recent stuff like Off his Rockers, Oilspot and Lipstick.

    Arabian Nights Movie Version

yeah it was originally released that way. I believe the change came when the film went to home video so there were plenty of Soundtracks sold with the original version. I have a cassette copy but I have no idea how to tell the difference just by looking at the packaging.

Magic Kingdom's early Fantasyland music (was Snow White's Scary Adv)

No the current DL Carousel music was done for HKDL. Prior to that WDW and DL's carousells had the same music, but it actually originated at EDL/DLP.

"Golden Dream" The American Adventure - Randy Bright/Bob Moline

The finale music you mentioned was released through the Disneyland Forever kiosks as part of the Great Moments with Mr Lincoln show, where it was also used as a finale.

    iTunes/Park Cd question for Randy

Did Disney pick up Muppet babies? I think the agreement with Henson only covered the Muppets proper. Muppet Babies was produced with Marvel, so I would suspect it's not part of the agreement.

Magic Kingdom's early Fantasyland music (was Snow White's Scary Adv)

Re: Magic Kingdom's Snow White's Scary Adventures I think that's actually the original Disneyland clock. Don't know when it was updated prior to the change in the early 90s, but apparently there were 2 versions of the Disneyland Clock parade prior to the DLP version coming in. But no, there was...

Magic Kingdom's early Fantasyland music (was Snow White's Scary Adv)

Re: Magic Kingdom's Snow White's Scary Adventures I'm so confused now. I know that none of the clips referenced here are the current/classic Disneyland small world loop. As I understand it the World's Fair and DL had different exterior loops, among other things, DL's version included a...

    Looking for:

I think everyone took me a little too seriously. I thought the first post was a little vague. I really just wanted to own Christmastime- kinda like Jack Skellington. Nevermind. *grumbles- stupid internet ruining subtelty of sarcasm*

Magic Kingdom's early Fantasyland music (was Snow White's Scary Adv)

Re: Magic Kingdom's Snow White's Scary Adventures So to clarify the Snow White queue, it was just this one song over and over again?

So if I give you these tracks you've listed, you'll give me Christmastime?

The Wonderful World of David Oneal

Re: Dave O'Neal's New Book Ah I see. So if Disney releases it and you get it for free elsewhere, it's stealing, but if they don't release it and you get it, that's ok. Got it.

Induction recording of Davy Jones' waterfall spiel on Pirates?

I assume we will after the next Official Album comes out.

    Author banned from parks?

I realized something while reading Realityland. His articles on Mouseplanet show that he does have a real love for the parks. He's a fan, albeit one of the watchdogs in the community. None of that comes through in his books. His books read like something from a tabloid. They may all be factual...

    Author banned from parks?

And as for authors, I almost want to say David Koenig, of Mousetales, an Realityland fame, ran into similar trouble, but I don't know for sure.

    Author banned from parks?

If memory serves, a year or two ago, Jim Hill of jimhillmedia.com was organizing and charging for a walking tour of Disneyland led by himself. So people who payed him would congregate in one spot and then he would proceed to lead them around telling stories about the park. I don't know if he was...

    Pirate Plunder

That guy cracks me up! I love how random tracks on that listing say "deleted 4-99" or whatever the date is, showing that it's a WDW Forever track, and some fan's copy of it instead of a copy of an original. There's nothing on that list that's from WDW's Mr Toad, unless that Pre 1983 mix uses...

    Film Music

Welcome aboard Eugene! Don't have an answer to you're question but your post made me realize, that Disney has a distinct advantage over other studios- they have fans to reach out to. Does anyone out there label themselves "A Universal Fan" or "A Paramount Fan". There are fans of individual...

    Rights to Use Disney Music

Wasn't there a short clip of that Epcot Medley on the last Official Album? Maybe mention that you'll give full credit info and where listeners can obtain the Album. As you're only using a short clip you might be covered by Fair Use laws, but even if you're not Disney may ok it if they think it...

BGM at El Pirata y el Perrico & Pecos Bill Cafe

Any idea what played at the Pirate restaurant before the POC movie stuff?

BGM at El Pirata y el Perrico & Pecos Bill Cafe

Does anyone know what plays at either of these restaurants? I'm assuming that they each play the same thing that's played in the outer lands.
