    What kind of Mic?

Hey Mark. Unidirectional or "cardioid" mics are what you want to avoid getting a lot of ambient noise. In regards to the pop filter, it's called a "pop filter" ;-) The fancy ones are made of all kinds of material, but you can make one with an embroidary hoop and a pair of pantyhose. EJ

What Land and Park do these Tracks Come From?

Those tracks play in Tomorrowland at WDW. They might also play in TDL's TL, but don't quote me on that. EJ

    DAK - Asia BGM

alt.binaries.multimedia.disney DOES in fact exist...it is a Usenet newsgroup. If you have trouble seeing it, you are probably using a lousy newsserver. Try Giganews or Easynews. I'll repost the Asia BGM to the group because Fudgie's post has disappeared. EJ

    "Project Disney"

Here is my 2 cents on the whole Project Disney madness that seems to be going on currently. I think that since it is a fresh upstart of an FTP server that while the files are few in number, a uniform naming system should be put in place...or better yet, correctly naming the files and then...

    Sonny Eclipse?

Hey Kdroz, I'd love to get a copy of your Sonny Eclipse stuff. Do you know the specifics of where it is available online? Do you have a website or FTP or anything? Thanks! EJ

    Space Mountain Music Question

In response to Question 6, regarding Esquivel's tracks...There are two of his pieces that play at the exit to WDW's Space Mountain. "Music Makers" and "Sentimental Journey", in that order, both of which are available on Space Age Bachelor Pad Music...

Track list for "WHERE MAGIC LIVES ON" The Offical Album of WDW

It's Tough To Be A Bug was actually on the DCA Album and it is different from the show mix (different vocals, etc). So really, it's only 1 new track. And I bet that's on one of those crazy Playhouse Disney albums. EJ

    Disneyland rides and attractions narrations

Oh I totally understand that people might in fact be selling off genuine DLF or WDWF cds, and that is fine with me, but it's the people that just burn things and sell them that bug me. People shouldn't have to pay each other for this music. I got most of mine for free from the internet and...

    Disneyland rides and attractions narrations

Am I the only one that thinks it's sort of wrong to sell CDs that people obviously made from their mp3 collections on Ebay? EJ

Recording Sounds at the Theme Parks

This isn't the first time I've heard about this FM thing. Is there any validity to the story? What frequencies? What areas/attractions use it? Thanks EJ

"it's a small world" Character Parade?

Recently I was organizing all of my unsorted mp3s and came across this track. It was labeled as "it's a small world character parade". The track is 8:12 long and contains It's a Small World sung by what I refer to as the "Parade" choir. They sound like the same people that sing the...

How do I download music from alt.binaries.multimedia.disney?

It really depends on what newsreader you are using. Outlook Express requires that all parts of a message be highlighted, then right click and choose Combine and Decode. XNews and Newsshark (and I think Forte's news products [the Agest series]) combine the message parts into one easy to...

    Disneyworld is Your World

There is a 23:26 master quality copy of the Disney World show floating around. I have it, and I have also seen it on alt.binaries.multimedia.disney . Check that out, someone will post it for you if you request it. There are also a couple of live recordings, but nothing in comparison to the...

    When WDW's Tomorrowland was rehabbed...

Does anyone have any information on the music that was used immediately following the re-opening of the New Tomorrowland in the mid 90s? I know that several Raymond Scott recordings were used for a short while before being replaced by a loop of 11 Scott knock-offs. Anybody know which Raymond...

    Sorcery in the Sky?

School firewalls...YUCKO. I share your pain. The one thing my school hasn't blocked (outside of web and email) is Usenet Newsgroups. You can still probably access those. Check out alt.binaries.multimedia.disney . Put in a request for Sorcery In The Sky. I know a bunch of folks in there...

    Favorite Sites for Disney MP3's?

First you need to find out the details of your Internet Service Provider's news server. Then you need to set up some news reader software. Outlook Express is a pretty good reader and a lot of people already have it. Add a new News account and enter the information about your server. After...
