Hi Randy, A couple of us (myself included) have received the Limited Edition box set with a number above 5000. Mine is 5024. Can you shed some light on this? Were there perhaps 5050 total produced or some other significant number? Thanks for any information you can provide.

Board members who receive your box sets, would you please share your limited edition number? I'm just curious about this. As I mentioned in a previous post, mine is #5024.

The message this was in response to has been deleted. I have listened to the CDs 1 and 2. They play fine, but that's really beside the point. When you pay $125 for a Limited Edition CD set, nothing should be scratched. I think any fellow collector would tell you that.

I haven't opened the LP- it's still sealed in the plastic. The sheet on the back of the box makes specific reference to it being the limited edition version, including the gold LP. Maybe Randy will reappear and give us some insight.

I have no idea where the #5024 came from either. The scratched CDs are such an annoyance. I had already planned to burn a copy of each CD so the originals would stay in absolute pristine condition. Too bad they didn't arrive that way.

My set arrived today. The only "limited edition" number I could find was a sticker on the back of the box. Mine is #5024, which seems odd. Is there somewhere else I should look for the number or is that it on the sticker? Horror of horrors, all six CDs are scratched. It's strange because...
