I want to thank you for finding the album. From the samples I am hearing, it seems to be all there, based on my inductions.
Let me spare you some trouble. There are six tracks in the music loop that play continuously, no matter what is going on. The volume is lowered and raised accordingly. So...
Having recorded all kinds of stuff at Disneyland, I can tell you that the loop was/is used at the Plaza Inn. It also ran at the Crystal Palace from my understanding and was later removed.

I also remember waiting in line under the grass thatched huts and there was a music loop in there. Music from African tribes played non stop. I remember trying to differentiate the songs from one another but they all sounded the same to me. The speakers were spread out and near the end of the...
Sort of along the same thread, I have been listening to a lot of Halloween albums this year. While it is not a Disney album, you can hear Thurl Ravenscroft and Paul Frees on Spike Jones Spooktacular.

With IASW having a scene change and Disney characters being added, one can only wonder what will happen to the original soundtrack.
I have pondered if Sleeping Beauty castle will have fresh recordings and a new sound system.
I expect Pixie hollow to have new BGM.
With Pirates being changed...
Thank you DL Flight 295! You have more than answered my question. This sparks my interest even more. I had no idea that Disneyland had it's own recording studio, I thought things were done at the Disney Studios. Is the Big D Studio still around?

I didn't exactly get excited on my first viewing of Nightmare before Christmas. However, I listened to the soundtrack a lot and I became a fan of the film that way. I recently purchased my copy too and have really enjoyed it.

Would they have Corey doing Paul's Voices while Paul was still alive? I think Paul was around during the State Fair and the voice is spot on. Whoever did the voice, did so well ahead of State Fair actually arriving at Disneyland. DL Flight 295, do you have any knowledge of this? Is there a way...
You can add Paul Frees to the list. He voiced Ludwig Von Drake as narrator for the train when it became the "State Fair Express" during Disney's State Fair Promotion.

I have a live version of the original music from IASW that I made before Toontown emerged, when that area of the park was nothing but a dead end with bushes and extra small world facade. I noticed the train simply runs through the area on the recording as there was no station there. The...
All of the songs in the loop are pretty short. I have noticed the left blockade house playing the tracks which seem to be coming out of the top where the guns would be used.
I used to broadcast on Live 365 while it was free. Didn't they tell us they had to pay royalties so they started charging the broadcasters? I dropped off when the royalty charges took effect. Are they saying that they were not paying royalties after all this time? Or are they saying the cost of...
I have read over the years about guest noise ruining nearly perfectly great recording attempts in both audio and video and I have had to have a laugh over it as the same has happened to me. I have had to laugh at some of your comments. It's a thankless job, holding up a microphone, drawing...
Wow! Getting a hold onto some of the new music would be great. I was there for the Nemo opening and rode pirates several times, noting the changes in audio. The soft version of yo ho was very nice and was a nice addition to an area that didn't have any music previously. The scare me music was...
I can say the the WDW TSI Fort Area BGM loop is the same as the track listing I put up and it runs at 4:37. If the labeling is correct, then this loop plays/played at both Forts.
I see that the red water-powered mill at WDW is named Harper's Mill and I bet that creaking frog track plays there...
