Re: Mouse Tracks The Story Off Walt Disney Records
I just took a magnifying glass to Little Red Riding Hood. Nothing anywhere that i could see. Oh well. Thanks anyway for all the info.
Re: Mouse Tracks The Story Off Walt Disney Records
Too bad the artists didn't sign their LP artwork like some of the other non-Disney LP cover artitsts did. Like Jack Davis, and George Peed just to name a couple.
Re: Mouse Tracks The Story Off Walt Disney Records
New question in relation to the book. Is there any kind of resource as to who did what artwork on the Disney Record Covers? Most of it is really awesome. I had the question come up on my blog about who did the cover for "Little Red Riding...
Re: Mouse Tracks The Story Off Walt Disney Records
Oh. I didn't check the whole thing. It was so long it looked like every page to me. I see what you mean now. Sorry for mis-speaking about it being the whole thing. I like that photo on Page 110. If it didn't have a caption I never would...
Re: Mouse Tracks The Story Off Walt Disney Records
I'll see if I can find it again. Seems like it was a Google.books address.
EDIT:
Found it. here it is:
"Mouse Tracks" Google Book Search
It has scans of the entire book.
That would have been cool if the video was right on the record. Along those lines I got some of the Talking Viewmaster reels. Has anyone seen those? The sound comes off something that I can only describe as a little, plastic, compact disc that is riveted to the back of the picture reel...
I don't understand why kids would have music, and not listen to it back then. Of course that is good for people who are buying those old LPs now days such as I am. What amazes me is to find one of the old Disney LPs still sealed.
I grew up with a boy who's parents never let him play with...
Re: Mouse Tracks The Story Off Walt Disney Records
You're welcome. Glad to be here. What, btw, is the rules on music sharing here. I ask because I have no desire to break forum rules. I know I began to share my Disney GE Show 'N Tell Records last night, and thought perhaps I shouldn't...
Re: Mouse Tracks The Story Off Walt Disney Records
Not sure if this is a jab at me mentioning it again, :o but I looked in search first, and I didn't find any in depth discussions about the book in the forum Search engine. Otherwise I would have used one of them to mention that I had gotten...
Mouse Tracks The Story Off Walt Disney Records
I just got a copy of Mouse Tracks: The Story of Walt Disney Records today in the mail. Can't wait to dive into it. I already see it has some great photos in it. First photo I came to was one of Robie Lester and Gene Merlino singing a song from...
You're right the sound isn't that great, but the addition of the filmstrip to watch as the record plays makes the whole experience for most kids. My oldest Grandchild is 7, and the youngest is almost 3. All 5 of them love all of Grand Dad's old toys. This includes the Matchbox Cars; Kenner...
I just recently acquired one of these to give my Grandkids for Christmas. It came with 8 Disney Records & Film Strips. Anyone else remember these from their childhood?
[b]Here's a photo of an old ad showing the viewer I got:
As you can see from the photos the kids can also play their many...
I was going to post the link to a website that had all the songs from this movie, but it is gone now. Sorry. It is a shame some movies never get a Soundtrack release.
Unfortunately for my home town we only have the Starvation Army Thrift Store now. We used to have a Buy, Sell, Trade store that had a basement full of LPs. Unfortunately, by the time I got around to going by to look at what he had there was a sign in the front window they had gone out of...
I made one of those free Jukeboxes, and filled mine with Disney music to listen to while I browse sometimes. I also have one that is full of halloween and Christmas music.
