just getting back to this thread. i watched that video, and actually he danced to the version from the album I mentioned not the show version from the current Hoedown/some old disneyland riverboat show. Interesting :P
Hi, I'm back again to ask a question. ;)
I'm trying to trace down a version of the opening song from Magic Kingdom's current Frontierland Hoedown.
The song is called Devil's Dream. Here it is on a youtube video.
While most versions sound completely different, the version by Felix Slatkin...
yes it appears they chose to ditch the individual float music and just use the monsters inc. music from the pixar play parade for their entire parade. While I want to say it's a shame, the music likely would have clashed horribly with how small the parade is and how close together the "units"...
It's also possible that the information is correct and that's the reason they chose not to include it in the US theme parks, but tokyo felt otherwise and included it anyways in theirs. I believe it was Randy himself who stated that reason but I could be wrong. I'll stop saying that it was never...
I heard them play "Snowtime" from tokyo's 2008 xmas castle show and it didn't sound like the show version. Can you confirm from your recording whether it is or not? By that time I might have just been used to the faster tempo used for the song in the parade version that year so I'm sure I was...
Does liberty square have its own christmas loop during the parties? I was waiting for the xmas parade and noticed the loop was different but thought it was playing christmas music. If they changed the daytime music back to the old loop on top of it, great. If that was just the normal loop I was...
It was never used in the park because it was deemed to sound too much like the beginning or ending of something rather than just part of an endless area loop.
I dunno who wrote it but the main song was from their '08 castle show Mickey's Jolly Snowtime, and then was adapted last year to this parade version of it.
But the real reason I'm posting is to say you were just there and should've bought the cd and had your answer in the cd notes ;PPPP
Adventureland sucked :P Rode the flying carpets while everyone was watching the parade and it was empty, and that bgm felt so out of place and irrelevant to the halloween party.
yep 4 seconds.
are you listening on headphones? the second one sounds slightly muted compared to the first one to me, which may be a result of the first one being stereo and the second being mono it's rather short to determine if that's the case though.
I haven't gone through the entire tracks...
Just to give it some credence hopefully.. Here's the quick clip of the opening of one track followed by the opening of the other track, and then a repeat of both so track A track B track A track B. See if you can hear a difference and then I said which track is which in the spoiler...
