It's a different version of the theme. There were three parts to the composition. One for the music thats used at DL and HKDL, one for the exit music at WDW and one for the version that's used at DLP.
Incidentally, the version that's used at HKDL omits the first few bars of the score and...
It's most likely that this is all that was recorded for the attraction. Since they are recorded as looping tracks they don't usually go to the extra expense of composing and recording a formal beginning and ending.
Some other attractions that are different from their east coast counterparts;
it's a small world(the original version)
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters(entirely new music)
Splash Mountain(different musical style)
Jungle Cruise(new scenes and well maintained)
The Snow White Grotto(to the right of...
So I was listening to UAB this evening and there was a World of Motion flow through played. At the end of the 16 minute flow through there was some music that sounded EXACTLY like the elusive third song in the Space Mountain Queue. Upon compairing it with the live recording in the queue, it...
The Monsters Inc. track includes both a selection of queue and most of the ride music. About 2:30-3min into the track it starts the ride music. You'll notice a a change between the loungy queue track and the more orchestral ride music.
I'm surprised no one has commented yet on Disc 2 Track 12, "A Bug's Life Suite". Is this the queue area music for the 3d film or music from Flik's Fun Fair?
If so, then this would be in line with other "new" tracks from past releases. The "new" Tower of Terror, Roger Rabbit and Alien Ecounter tracks from last years 50th CD's from WDW and DL were from the Japanese Music Vacation CD. After all, it is much easier and less expensive to rip a track from...
Here's the tracklist from the 50th album. It seems that we delete the Rainbow Caverns track, but that is the only one that is lost. I can't imagine they would remix tracks that were remixed last year.
It could be the source of info got mixed up so I wouldn't rush to order it from Disneyland...
Isn't this exactly the same as the two disc 50th album? Maybe the source of information thought that it was new but it seems like the old album.
There certainly are not nine new tracks here like Randy said there would be.
Randy Thornton mentioned before the last two disc album came out for WDW that he wanted to include Reflections of China on the album but didn't have time. I believe we can look forward to it on this new album.
Sorry to dig up an old thread. Does anyone here have any info as to the song that is played in the Stalagtites/Stalagmites scene in the Calico Mine Ride? Thanks.
