    Yoshi's Tokyo Disneyland Resort Page?

It's been down since April. I wrote to Yoshi and he replied recently. He's doing OK, but has taken the site down indefinitely for personal reasons.

The Wonderful World of David Oneal

In Japan, it is illegal to sell camcorder recorded shows/events from Tokyo Disney Resort. Last year, three persons were arrested for selling "professional quality" DVD's of shows and events that they legally recorded at TDR. They sold the DVD's containing 3-4 shows each online at about US$100...

OT: Reflections on a trip to Tokyo Disneyland

Well, actually, it's very Japanese. Ever been to a temple or shrine during New Year's? Or waiting for a department store to open on the day of a big sale? How about the morning train commute to work? The "dash", how the Japanese call it, is very much a part of the social scene.

Finding Disney Music in thrift stores

For those in Japan, BOOK-OFF used book/CD shops are treasure troves of Disney music. Most discs range from US$5-$10. Just the other day I saw another copy of the original "Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade" CD.

    Cinderellabration 2008

Hi folks, I'm sure some of you have gotten your CD's by now. And now, you can also enjoy the videos to some of the shows & parades from this year's Christmas events at TDR (some music is not available on CD). Each show page on my site has the YouTube version but you can also download a...

Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights Xmas Version

I checked eight Japanese websites and they all have "November 14th" as the release date in Japan (11/13 US time). It probably means the CD will be available November 7th inside the Parks. Yay! JoeInJpn http://www.jtcent.com

    Japan Release: Disney on CLASSIC

Thanks Dirk. I'll check out for that. Since I'll be meeting Brad Kelley, the arranger and conductor (as well as Tokyo DisneySea's pre-opening Music Director), I can ask him directly. :-) JoeInJpn http://www.jtcent.com
