I just received some tracks labeled "Mark Twain area"...(Milenberg Joys and Come Back, Sweet Papa)...these sound quite a bit like Firehouse 5+2 tracks. I know that the Firehouse 5+2 PLAYED at Disneyland, but does anyone know if their recordings were actually USED as area music?

    Thanks,

    Bill

I know at least Milenberg Joys is used on the Mark Twain; I don't know about any other tracks. (Given that one is, it's certainly possible others were as well!)

Sorry, I seem to have implied it without actually stating it. Yes, it's the Firehouse Five Plus Two rendition!

Yes, they are used as area music. Tokyo Disneyland uses their songs almost exclusively for their riverfront loop. I know Disneyland uses some of the tracks. I guess it was easy for them to get clearance on that stuff...

Well, the only complete list with Firehouse 5 on it, is from Tokyo Disneyland. This is from their New Orleans Square area stuck in Adventureland around Pirates of the Caribbean.

    Adventureland:
Pirates of the Caribbean Area Music:
    1. Sister Kate ? (Dixieland Favorites / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    2. That?s a Plenty ? (Dixieland Favorites / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    3. Swanee River ? (Firehouse Five Plus Two Goes South / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    4. Basin Street Blues ? (Firehouse Five Plus Two Goes South / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    5. Birmingham Papa ? (Firehouse Five Plus Two Goes South / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    6. Milneberg Joys ? (Firehouse Five Plus Two Goes South / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    7. I?m Gonna Charleston Back to Charleston ? (Firehouse Five Plus Two Goes South / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    8. Georgia Camp Meeting ? (Firehouse Five Plus Two Goes South / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    9. Fidgety Feet ? (Dixieland Favorites / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    10. Storyville Blues ? (Dixieland Favorites / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    11. Muskrat Ramble ? (Dixieland Favorites / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    12. Canal Street Blues ? (Dixieland Favorites / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)
    13. Come Back Sweet Papa ? (Dixieland Favorites / Firehouse Five Plus Two CD)

As for Disneyland, I wish I had a complete list. None of the above songs are in the list I have, but there are a bunch of "song #" tracks...

Rivers of America / New Orleans Square Riverfront Area Music:
    1. Song #1
    2. Song #2
    3. Song #3
    4. Alexander's Ragtime Band
    5. The Royal Garden Blues
    6. Anything Goes
    7. Alabama Jubilee
    8. Maple Leaf Rag
    9. Song #9
    10. The Old Piano Roll Blues
    11. When the Saints Go Marching In
    12. Grandfather's Clock
    13. After You've Gone
    14. Song #14
    15. Song #15
    16. Song #16
    17. Song #17

So, I'm not sure which Firehouse 5 + 2 tracks are actually used at Disneyland, anyboy else know?
