Hello all...new member here! love Disney music!

I want to know...does anyone have or know where I can get the music Disneyland Resort Paris use for the countdown to their new year. It includes speech along the lines of 'When you see the natural sky darken and your aware...' cant remember the rest.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If music is wanted in return it's possible, I have a huge stock!

    Thanks

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there,

the score used for the last three years for the New Year's Fireworks at DLRP has been from "Disney's Treasure Planet" - taken straight from the OST-release. So that CD should solve the main problem.

As far as I remember (but I don't have a recording of the actual fireworks) the dialogue coming before that is also from the "narrator" of Disney's Trasure Planet - but that is not 100% sure due to a missing opportunity to confirm it.

Is it really straight off the soundtrack CD? For some reason, I had thought it was a different mix of things that wasn't directly available.

Of course, I've had a live recording of it since this last New Year's--horrible quality, since it's just my personal video of the fireworks, but it should be enough to confirm the music being played--but I've been too lazy/busy (OK, lazy) to do anything with it since then. I'll have to dig it out...if it really is a direct lift from the CD, that'd be awesome!

Scott, that at least was my understanding - regarding the SCORE. As I said I am not sure about the dialogue. That may have been mixed in. I haven't listened to the OST in a long time ... but I have a funny feeling, I will be able to listen to it again this New Year's Eve - it would be a surprise (even so a welcome one) if they would replace it for this year's fireworks.

Glad that I was able to help - which three parts / tracks were the ones you had to mix together?

Track 3 - End half of the song
Track 17 - End half again
Ending in Track 2 - The BBMAC Song.
